Spend some time in Samoën, it’s truly delightful, interesting buildings, a botanic garden that leads you up a mountainous outcrop overlooking the village, great views, water features and a 12th century castle ruin. Be sure to check out the bars, restaurants and shops. The thriving market is on a Wednesday you’ll see lots of local produce and the locals doing their shop. Visit the tea rooms – they have an award winning artisan but be warned you may become addicted to their pastries and the Swiss Chocolatier has his place far too close to the chalet.
